Hi Amrit!
I just thought you should know that the photo of “Kat Herding” is phony. The woman shown is actually an actress from Australia who seems to do some modeling on the side. Unfortunately for Web 2.0, there’s still no way for people to tell if you’re a dog (no offense intended to Ms. Herding or the unnamed “Kat Woman”…;-).

Hi Doug. Actually I had an inkling…especially the way she’s splattered all over the website. Serious marketers are less prone to doing that unless they are working in “The Practice” kind of serial. But anyway…thanks for the informative comment :-).

I guess I’m siding with the unwashen (& gullible) teen set here (a la ‘LonelyGirl15′) by saying, hey, I’ll probably swing by and check out the page a couple of times a week EVEN THOUGH it’s a little transparent. She’s not the ‘NSFW’ kind of hottie you find littered all over a bunch of sites these days — but more like the kind of over-sweet girl you’d love to have as your front-man at the next trade show (you know the kind — one of those types who actually knows your product, and is so captivating that potential customers become so just because they can’t tear themselves away?). Go Kat!

Hi Dan. You’re right. I found her smile quite charming.

Well of course I’m from Australia, silly! How does that make me “phony”? Oooh, this makes me see red, Cobber! I guess there’s nothing for it but to throw another shrimp on the barbie — and possibly tie me kangaroo down, Sport.

Kat, what they mean is you are not you (the face, I mean) but some Australian actress-cum-model. So it’s not that since you’re from Australia so you’re phoney :-).
