Here are the fundamentals of your SEO campaign:
- Generate lots of quality content
- Use your keywords and key phrases between header tags
- Put the main header of the page between <h1></h1> and then use the other header tags for other headings
- Put your keywords and key phrases in your anchor text: whatever comes between <a> and </a>
- Get lots of inbounds links, preferably from websites that themselves have lots of inbound links
- Interact a lot and leave relevant comments (comments that add value) on other blogs and forums
- Keep your web pages well-validated
- Trackback to blog posts that have heavy traffic (well-meaning trackback, not spammy trackback)
- Generate lots of quality content (yes, I know I have said it earlier — just felt like repeating it)
