The Benefits Of Your LinkedIn Account
Jan 06, 2007
I have one account at LinkedIn; I don’t remember when I created it, but recently a post on a blog prompted me to update it. It’s basically a business networking website and it can be good if you work on your own. People can access you profile, go through it and then contact you if they find you hire-worthy.
Guy Kawasaki shares on his blog 10 Ways To Use LinkedIn. If you go to LinkedIn they prominently display this link on their main page :-). He also tells you that he is the person at LinkedIn with the highest number of pending LinkedIn invitations. Well, at least you know what to expect if you invite him through LinkedIn :-).

LinkedIn and other social networking sites are a great way get your profile up in the Internet. A friend once told me that his linked in site outperformed his own sites in the search engines!
I’m yet to get one though. I don’t know what is stopping me! Its free anyway, isn’t it?;)

I think it is not free after the addition of certain number of contacts…I think so but I’m not sure but I’m certain the site is not completely free. You are right that one should take it seriously. I’ll too improve my profile over there
