Now You Can Use Your Own Domain With Blogger
Jan 08, 2007
Although it was always possible to host a Blogger blog on your own domain — I used that feature for almost a year once — now you just have to register a domain (anywhere) and Google will host your blog on it’s server. All you have to do is, register your domain using any of the registrars and then point your name server to ghs.google.com. This could be a good news for bloggers who don’t like running blogs under http://blogname.blogspot.com. Another likely benefit could be, in case you begin to get some decent traffic, you won’t have to pay extra, I guess, for the bandwidth.
