It’s Been Slow Blogging of Late

I generally post a minimum of three blog posts everyday but these days I’ve been only managing one. Lots of work (but work is good!) and I’m yet to plan things in such a manner that nothing gets left, including blogging. I hope to resume normal blogging by next week.

Just before starting blogging regularly I fell really sick and for almost a month I was bed-ridden, and that period has had a cascading effect on my work. The backlog has been quietly piling up, both in terms of projects and the cash flow. Fortunately, things are looking up quite fast.

Blogging has definitely helped. I have got a few content writing and copywriting gigs from my blog. In fact this is the main reason I blog. Through this blog I want to get more traffic to my content writing and copywriting website and hence more writing work.

Although the thought crosses my mind now and then, I don’t plan to publish ads here for a very long time, at least not one of those intrusive ads that become a “part of your blog template”. May be when I begin getting lots of traffic, especially the repeat traffic, then I’ll publish ads from independent advertisers or who knows, may be AdSense too.
