Finding Business On The Net, and Business Finding You
Jan 03, 2007
When you work on you the greatest hurdle is getting the work. How do people who need you find you? And how do you convince them you are the one they need? Lots of factors contribute to you getting work on the Internet and your blog plays an important part, says Jonathan at Snook.ca.
Jonathan is a web designer/developer and a season blogger. Having some interest in web designing and development myself, I keep visiting his blog for his insightful thoughts.
Although he talks primarily in terms of getting web development gigs, you can apply the same thing on getting content writing, copywriting and blogging gigs:
- Network
- Blog regularly
- Write in places other than your own blog/website
I don’t know how much if it is true but I’m getting more queries ever since I started blogging on a more regular basis. Even though now I don’t design websites, people are even querying to get their websites developed, along with getting the content written.
