I’ve been, along with Alka working on a project for a few days. We have to translate an English documentary script into Hindi script. We have prior experience. So far the work is going good and the reviewer has liked it. We don’t translate verbatim and try to make the language sound as “normal” as possible. It’s a big project. It’s a corporate DVD of Wrigley chewing gum.
Translation is gradually becoming a prominent work, as more and more TV channels are getting their software translated to reach the regional markets. And the money is not bad too. If we successfully get the current project implemented, we may offer translation as a separate service and I’ll put another page solely devoted to it at http://www.amrithallan.com. I may try PPC campaigning too.

I am keen to know whether you are using any software,if yes, then which one.
I blog on MSN India, Sulekha, Rediff and Indiatimes and to increase the reach I now wish to translate them into Hindi.Pl advise.

safe use of ladder: 3 point contact
both hands holding on the rungs of ladder
one foot on the rung of ladder
one hand holding on the rung of ladder
feet on the rungs of ladder
the 3 point contact
when ever going up or doen the ladder keep both hands free. never carry anything like the hooks of your lanyard, tools or anything which will prevent you from keeping a firm grip on the rungs of the ladder.

its good to know that u r working in translation of tv script . actually i m also working on such scripts of a tv channel . i think there is always difficulty in general translation and script translation. u need more care in such translation .
