Writing content for online publishing — blogs and websites — is a bit a different from writing for the conventional media (I know, I know, some day the Internet too will be conventional media). Online content is more participatory. Readers can take part in your conversation. But can conversation happen if you don’t leave some loose ends here and there?
You should always leave your online writing open to attack because that’s how you encourage and nurture debate. Some people agree with you, some don’t, and some have something additional to say.
