10 Add-ons to consider for your website
Dec 01, 2006
If you’re visiting this blog frequently you’ll notice I’ve been playing around with the design template a lot. Well, I’ll keep doing it until I zero-in on a design I really like. For the time being, I think the new layout looks quite OK. Yes, for the basic containment of the content it uses tables instead of DIVs but I’ll convert the table tags into DIVs as soon as I get some time.
Even if you feel you’re finished with designing and validating your blog or website, there are many features you can keep on adding to enhance the overall quality of your website. Frankie Roberto on his blog has compiled a list of 10 add-ons you can consider adding to your website or blog. I’ll just list the names, the rest you can read on his blog. The add-ons are:
- Favicon
- Robots.txt and Sitemaps
- RSS Feeds
- Tabindex
- Microsummaries
- Print Stylesheet
- Accesskeys
- XFN (XHTML Friends Network)
- Link and Image Titled
- Language Codes
